Adult Ministries

St. Paul describes the Church as the "Body of Christ," where each person makes up a different member of the body. When the body is working and moving together, inspired by the Holy Spirit, it can accomplish amazing things. Holy Trinity offers ways for adults to connect with one another, and the entire body of Christ, through various ministries.

Adult Ministries are an important component of our core values because they provide opportunities for members and friends to fellowship, learn, and serve together.

Below, you will find several Adult Ministries and how to get involved. We hope you'll become a regular part of our church family.

Men's Ministry

Men's Breakfasts & All Parish Brunches

The men of the church (along with sons and daughters) meet between the two Sunday services on four Sundays between September and May. In addition to socializing, the group is also engaged in fundraising for a variety of church projects and mission/outreach programs. Volunteers cook on a rotating basis and attendees are not required to spend time in the kitchen. On the first Sunday in May, the group sponsors the all-church breakfast/brunch.

For more information about how to get involved, contact Gary Henderson.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

The HTEC ECW (Episcopal Church Women) is a ministry of which all women are members through baptism and is part of a state and national organization.  We meet the first Monday of every month (except July and August) at 7 PM in the Parish Hall. Our meetings are about Outreach, Mission and Ministry and are attended by a dynamic group of women who encourage and support each other.

The ECW has many fundraisers throughout the year which include Mini Soup Sales during the winter months, WAWA Hoagie Discount Cards, RADA Cutlery Sales, the Yard Sale/Bake Sale and HTEC Christmas Ornament Sales. The monies raised go to various organizations such as KOH, Seeds of Hope, Family Promise, Center for Family Services, Brotherhood of St. Andrew Prison Ministry YCF, Covenant House (Atlantic City, NJ), the District ECW Outreach Programs, Kid’s Alley (Camden, NJ), Dream Catchers and others.  We provide funding for items necessary for the Altar Guild, for the Lenten Lunch, the Palms at Easter, the Advent Wreath at Christmas, the Chicken Barbecue and the Church Picnic.  We are always ready to provide funds toward items the Church needs.

We are always happy to see new faces at the meetings and various activities. We are looking to focus on more Worship and Bible Study in the coming future as well as participating in a local retreat.

For more information on how to get involved, contact Nancy Garvin, President of the ECW.

ECW meets the first Monday of each month at 7 PM in the Parish Hall.

Cheerfully in Christ,

Nancy Garvin
