The Complete Idiot's Guide
to the Book of Common Prayer
Sundays at 9 AM in the Parish Hall
An Adult Formation Opportunity
Starts Sept. 16
At the heart of the Anglican tradition is a book. Not a religious text or mystical revelation, this book gave structure to a church in its infancy, it grounded the tradition in scripture and tradition, and became one of the most influential books in history.
That book is The Book of Common Prayer (BCP).
Over 8 weeks we'll talk about the history, theology, structure, uses, and future of the Prayer Book. If you ever had questions about the BCP or why we do what we do on Sunday mornings, this is the class for you. All adults are welcome and encouraged to join us! If you have a prayer book, it would be good to bring one.
