Christmas at Holy Trinity
Dec. 18, Dec. 24, Dec. 25 & Jan. 1
As Advent begins, that means Christmas is right around the corner! Time to mark your calendars, gather your family and friends, and celebrate the birth of Christ with us at Holy Trinity! Information below. We will also have Christmas Postcards available to invite everyone to church over this holiday season next Sunday, December 4!
Advent 4 (Sunday, December 18)
8 & 10 AM Holy Trinity Family Christmas Tree
It is a tradition at Holy Trinity to decorate a Christmas Tree for our Christmas services, and we need your help! We're asking all families to bring an ornament from home that represents their family for our tree! It could be a photo, an ornament of something your family likes to do together, or anything really! When folks arrive for our Christmas services, they'll be greeted by a Christmas Tree that embodies our parish family!
11:30 AM Greening of the Church
Stick around after the service and help the Holy Trinity Altar Guild assist with decorating for Christmas! There's lots to do but opportunities for all ages and abilities! Direction will be given by the head of our Altar Guild, Joanne Hutchison, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24)
5 PM Family Service with Carols, Communion & Cookie Reception
A family friendly service with all of the Christmas Carols you love. Volunteers will help assemble the Creche as the service continues. We'll conclude with Communion. Stick around after the service for a Milk & Cookie Reception for kids and families! You won't want to miss it.
11 PM Traditional Midnight Mass with Communion & Carols
The first service of Christmas Day! The service will feature Christmas Carols, Holy Communion, and the reading of the Christmas Proclamation. We'll end with a candlelight hymn, celebrating the joy of the Feast of the Nativity and the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ! This is one of the most beautiful services of the year!
Christmas Day (Sunday, December 25)
10 AM Christmas PajaMass
Christmas Day is on a Sunday this year--weren't we all just here! To make it special, we'll only have one service on Christmas Day, and everyone is invited to wear their Christmas Pajamas! Our PajaMass is an opportunity to keep Christ at the center of your Christmas Celebration, be comfortable in church, and start Christmas Day off right!
New Year's Day (Sunday, January, 1, 2023)
10 AM Christmas Lessons & Carols
We won't be doing ALL 9 lessons and Carols, but we will hear about God's saving plan for the world in our Lord Jesus Christ, interspersed with lesser-known Christmas Carols (and some of our favorites too!). There will only be one service on New Year's Day, so we hope to see you there!
